The Suburbia Clothing is a Vancouver based clothing company
seeking to inject edginess and individuality back into
the urban streets through distinctive graphic T-shirts
and apparel designed by Vancouver Artist Yulee Hong.
Clothing is a creative expression of self like any other
art. With mass produced style pervading closets everywhere,
The Suburbia provides a refreshing alternative for style
craved fashionistas searching for clothing pieces fantastically
different from the norm. The clothing line consists of
artistic designs on T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring
bright punchy colour combinations and unconventional design
placements. The vibrant play on colours is a key aspect
to the designs and complements the collection’s
edgy design prints.

the chatter of all other designs currently out in the

me that friends and even strangers come up to them to

Launched in 2006 by UBC business student and graphic designer
Yulee Hong, The Suburbia Clothing is a living rebellion
to the misconception that entrepreneurship is only for
business professionals who’ve done laps in the corporate
world.
“Too many people dream. Not enough people do. Fortunately
I rather enjoy defying convention.”
Philosophy
All success is rendered pointless if the social context
of the company is ignored. To strive solely for personal
success is a meaningless aim. To combat this, The Suburbia
is also a fundraising medium with a portion of proceeds
from all sales channelled to charity.
Because Love without action is simply a myth.
